About inViseu

Built to Grow With the Community

inViseu is being created as a place to discover the people, businesses, culture, events, and experiences that shape life in Viseu.

Our intention is not simply to build another directory. We want to make useful local information easier to find, give independent businesses and community initiatives greater visibility, and strengthen connections between residents, visitors, business owners, cultural organizations, and community leaders.

The site is still taking shape—and that is intentional. We want inViseu to grow through real use, honest feedback, and the needs of the community it is being built to serve.

Where We Are Now: version 0.1

The v0.1 releases are early working versions of inViseu. They allow us to share the foundation of the site with community leaders, business owners, organizers, and others who understand Viseu from different perspectives.

At this stage, the goal is to learn what works, what is missing, and what would make the platform genuinely useful. That feedback will help determine how the site develops while also beginning to connect the people and organizations that contribute to life in the region.

Building Toward version 1.0

There is still much more planned for inViseu. The path toward v1.0 includes:

• A larger and more representative local business directory
• More comprehensive event listings
• Completed local guides and practical resources
• iAM — inViseu Art Magazine
• A shop featuring prints by local artists and other creative products made to order
• More opportunities for businesses, organizations, and community members to find and connect with one another

These plans may continue to evolve as we receive feedback. The aim is not to add features simply for the sake of having them, but to build something useful, relevant, and rooted in the community.
